TURTLES Part II: More from the Cove

Here are some more pics I took around the cove!

I don't know what this is called, but I have named it "Dentist Office Aquarium Fish (Doaf)" LOL

Doesn't this look like it came straight from a volcano!!! Well I guess it did at some point!

I am not really sure what this is called, but my friends and I have named this "Scaly Button". This thing is so strange! If you know what it is please let me know!
We picked one up yesterday and the bottom is bright red and purple and looks exactly like a Gerber daisy! I could not pick one up today because they were all stuck really hard to the rocks!

Nirvana...oops, Vana! LOL

This is the cove where the turtles were.

More Vana

Sea Cucumber

And this is the sunset across from my apartment! Beautiful end to a beautiful day!

 Goodnight all, and God bless!

TURTLES!!!

I went snorkeling yesterday with an amazing group of new friends! They took me to a cove FULL of wild sea turtles! While snorkeling they swam up to us! They would just kind of look at us, and check us out! There were about 6 or 7 big ones out there, and it was such an amazing experience to swim next to these gentle giants! Most of them ranged from 3 - 5 ft across! they were huge! I didn't bring my camera yesterday, but I went back today and took some pics! I feel so blessed that the turtles came so close to the shore next to me! I also took some pics of wild life in the rocks in the area! Enjoy!

Iao Valley!!!

Iao Valley is where one of the most important battles in Hawaiian history took place! This was such a beautiful place. I went hiking with friends in the valley.

These are coffee beans!

When you split them open they look like this.

Ku Kui nut

Guava

Bananas

Wild Raspberry's

We hiked around the river in the valley, and went swimming!

I am so humbled and thankful that I have seen this with my own eyes in this lifetime!

The tall peak is called the Iao Needle and people actually climb it! CRAZY!!!

This was truly an amazing hike!
